Tree of Sound was founded by Alyssa Rothwell in 2025 — sound therapist, multidisciplinary artist and animator, educator, and Iyengar Yoga practitioner. Her work is grounded in an embodied understanding of sound, weaving together therapeutic practice and artistic expression to create immersive experiences that connect body, mind, and imagination.

Alyssa offers sound healing through deeply immersive Sound Baths and Interactive Sound Gardens, inviting participants to explore the transformative power of resonant sound. Drawing on traditional instruments from around the world, her approach is rooted in the belief that sound can support balance, awaken creativity, and nurture overall wellbeing.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which this work is shared. We honour their enduring connection to Country—its landscapes, waters, and living soundscapes—and recognise the deep cultural significance of sound, including song, vibration, and ceremonial practices, as integral expressions of knowledge, healing, and connection.

As practitioners, we acknowledge that sound healing is not a modern invention, but a practice rooted in ancient traditions and ancestral wisdom carried across cultures and generations. We honour these lineages with humility and respect, recognising the responsibility to approach this work with integrity, cultural awareness, and gratitude.
